About the Game

Football (soccer) is the world’s most popular sport, played between two teams of eleven players each. The goal is simple: score by getting the ball into the opponent’s net using any part of the body except hands and arms.

Basic Rules

• Match lasts 90 minutes, divided into two halves of 45 minutes.
• Each team can have 11 players on the field, including a goalkeeper.
• Only the goalkeeper may use hands within the penalty area.
