About the Game

Hopscotch is a traditional playground game played by drawing numbered boxes on the ground with chalk. Players toss a marker and hop through the squares on one foot, picking it up on the way back without losing balance.

Basic Rules

  • Draw a hopscotch grid on the ground with numbered squares.
  • Throw a small object (stone or marker) into the first square.
  • Hop through the grid on one foot, skipping the square with the marker.
  • Pick up the marker on the return hop without stepping out of bounds.
