About the Game

Kabaddi is a traditional contact sport that originated in India. Two teams take turns sending a “raider” into the opponent’s half to tag players and return safely, all while chanting “kabaddi” in a single breath.

Basic Rules

  • Each team has 7 players on the court.
  • A raider must tag opponents and return to their half without being tackled.
  • If the raider is stopped, the defending team scores; if not, the raider’s team scores.

  • Strength and tackling ability
  • Agility and quick reflexes
  • Breath control and stamina
