About the Game

Softball is a bat-and-ball game similar to baseball but played on a smaller field with a larger ball. It is often played recreationally, but competitive leagues exist worldwide. The game focuses on teamwork, strategy, and quick reflexes.

Basic Rules

  • Each team fields 9 or 10 players depending on the format.
  • The game is usually 7 innings long.
  • Pitches are delivered underhand rather than overhand.
  • Runs are scored by hitting the ball and running around four bases.
