About the Game

Tennis is a racket sport that can be played individually (singles) or in pairs (doubles). Players use a racket to hit a ball over a net into the opponent’s court, aiming to win points by making the ball unreturnable.

Basic Rules

  • Matches are played as singles (1v1) or doubles (2v2).
  • Points follow a unique scoring system: 15, 30, 40, and game.
  • The ball must land within the marked court boundaries to be valid.
  • A player wins by taking sets, usually best of 3 or 5.
